Lawn Maintenance
Routine mowing to keep the lawn looking neat week to week. Frequency depends on growth and expectations.
- Mowing
- Trimming around edges/obstacles
- Trimming along pavement edges where accessible (curbs, walks, driveway cracks)
- Blow-off of hard surfaces
Every property is different, and homeowners have different expectations for how their yard should look. These options are designed to match those expectations — from simple upkeep to high-detail presentation.
Note: bed maintenance, mulch, and plant trimming are typically seasonal services, not part of routine mowing.
| Typical scope | Basic Maintenance | Finished Appearance | Manicured Maintenance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lawn mowing | Included | Included | High-detail mowing |
| Trimming | Around obstacles | Full trimming around obstacles | Full trimming + crack trimming |
| Edges / hard surfaces | Pavement edge trimming where accessible | Maintained edges + hard-surface weed control | Sharp weekly edges + crack trimming |
| Cleanup | Clear clippings from hard surfaces | Full surface cleanup (walks, driveway, entry areas) | Enhanced presentation (full detail + cleanup) |
| Hard-surface weeds | Visible areas only | Controlled hard-surface weeds | Active control + detail work |
| Best for | Simple routine upkeep is the priority. | A clean, defined look throughout the season. | Appearance is a top priority and detail matters. |
During the estimate, we review the property and recommend a service level based on lawn condition and your expectations.
Lawn growth changes a lot throughout the season. During peak growing months, waiting too long between cuts can stress the lawn and make it harder to maintain a clean appearance.
Choosing the right mowing frequency helps protect lawn health and keeps the property looking consistently maintained.
- More consistent appearance
- Healthier growth
- Cleaner mowing results
- Less clipping buildup
- Better edge definition
- Grass can be much taller between visits
- Clipping buildup may occur
- Appearance can vary more week to week
- The lawn may become overgrown between visits
- Extra cleanup may be required
- Results depend heavily on growth conditions
If you're unsure, we can review the lawn during the estimate and recommend a schedule based on growth conditions and your expectations.
Seasonal services
Seasonal services keep beds, edges, and the yard in shape. Add what you need as the season changes.
- Beds have lost definition or weeds are taking over
- Mulch has thinned and edges need to be re-cut
- Leaves/debris are building up and the property needs a reset
- Spring Cleanup: Debris removal, edging, and a reset after winter.
- Mulch Installation: Bed edging + mulch install to sharpen lines.
- Bed Weeding: Hand-weeding to keep beds clean.
- Shrub / Hedge Trimming: Trims for shape, clearance, and clean lines.
- Fall Cleanup: Leaf removal to protect turf going into winter. Most properties need 2–3 visits depending on tree coverage.
- Dethatching: When needed to reduce thatch and improve growth.
